Yellow Club

Our priority in all our art classes is that the children enjoy doing the activities; but we also want them to learn to develop their artistic skills.

A developing visual vocabulary and a growing ability to think visually and spatially will greatly help your child to focus, explore, clarify and express ideas, feelings and experiences.

This program will enable your child to see and to solve problems creatively through imaginative thinking. Start with Art Club encourages individuality to value confidence and self-esteem through self- expression.

We will learn some of the fundamentals of artistic development through a 3 term program based on art history and the visual elements:

Color, line, form, shape, texture, value, space, balance, unity, rhythm, emphasis, movement, pattern and contrast.

We use a range of materials: such as oil pastels, chalk pastels, water-colours, charcoal, pencil, clay, glass paints, fabric paints.

​

We are also constantly devising new activities to teach them how to develop artistic techniques like sketching, blending, portraiture, scale…and much more!
